Mimosa – Acacia Absolute (Acacia dealbata)
$14.45 – $68.95
Description
Mimosa, also known as, acacia dealbata or acacia decurrens var. dealbata, the Silver Wattle Tree. The flowers and small branch ends are used, with alcohol as the solvent, to extract this most exotic oil.
It is viscous rich, dark yellow to orange, with a warm floral perfume. It is most used in high class perfume recipes, or as a perfume on its own. It is also seen in skin applications for moisturizing and nourishing.
** It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution. Otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance – particularly the rare and exotic notes – become lost.
