Tangerine (Citrus reticulata)
$7.95 – $28.45
Description
An attractive evergreen tree, with deep green foliage that produces sweet fruits in winter. Sharing the same botanical name as Mandarin, it is possibly a similar variant of the Mandarin and the Orange, with a rich deep Reddish-Orange colour, producing a thin skinned fruit which is easy to peel and pull apart like a mandarin, and smaller than an orange though sweeter and stronger in flavour.
The fruit rind is cold pressed to produce the essential oil, the medicinal properties of Tangerine are also very similar to that of the Mandarin, and being rather similar to Bitter Orange oil.
